In the field

Apple growers have a huge challenge and expense regarding their spray program. Growers may have 20 to 24 applications per season. Our customers apply 30 to 40 GPA and cover 2 to 3 times as many acres per day as conventional air-blast sprayers.

We use 60% less HP than an air-blast and save 3 gallons of diesel per hour. This allows growers to buy lower HP tractors that fit the trellis systems better and cost less as well.

Growers report strong results using OnTarget to apply sun protection. Sunburn can be their number one way to lose fruit. The wraparound coverage and spraying horizontally, not just up, delivers the uniform coating on the top of the apple.

Several varieties can get marked with excess water from a high-volume spray program. OnTarget's method of application helps growers manage that risk.
