Strawberries
35,000 acres of strawberries on the California. OnTarget delivers superior coverage all season — with dramatically less water, fuel and labor.

The physiology and structure of a strawberry plant make it difficult to spray and get uniform coverage. Our air-assisted nozzle powered with compressed air drives the spray deep into the canopy and moves the foliage in the process. Once the canopy is filled with charged drops, they electrically attach to all plant surfaces.
Electrostatic wraparound is vital, and our spray droplets are far more concentrated than those from wet boom sprayers. Where Lygus and mites are a concern, growers rely on thorough coverage — and that is what OnTarget is built to deliver.
Our sprayers perform best at 15 to 20 GPA and 3.5 mph. Conventional rigs usually put out 150 GPA and go 2.5 to 2.75. We cover 3 to 4 times as many acres per day. We now have petrol and electric-powered models for autonomous vehicles in 2026.
